In case after all this time of visiting the Art of Mod Museum you still don’t understand why we love the Trenton, NJ-based newspaper The Trentonian so much, maybe today’s cover will help you to understand why…
1. “Dearest Patti, Gadhafi’s dead” is the headline, and the photo is two women cheers-ing the camera with their respective alcoholic beverages. Read more closely and you’ll notice that the photo is actually from before Patricia, who the Trentonian takes liberty to assume is nicknamed Patti, died in the Lockerbie bombing in 1988.
2. Right next to a photo of the dead Gadhafi is today’s pin-up babe of the day who “loves raising sheep” (???), which we’re pretty sure is the weirdest sexual metaphor we’ve heard yet today.
3. The weather? Nice day.
