Many humans now predict that “Art is Dead,” which has recently given birth to the neo-Post-Modernist movement of “‘Art is Dead’ as Art itself.” This movement shows us that art deemed as examples of “Art being Dead” are a new wave of art themselves.
The following two works of art are debatably part of this “Art is Dead as Art itself” movement.

In this display of McDonalds French-Fry-Crab meets Ketchup-Cockroach, the themes of conquest, dictatorship and tyranny are brilliantly emphasized through the emotions of the two fighters. The lighting and shading also helps to provide us with an emotional connection to the situation, especially in our reverence for the Ketchup-cockroach.
While “Art is Dead,” Sand is Alive in this superb creation of Sandcastle-Art-via-Sandcastle-Mobile-Phone. The curvature of the domed castle-like sand-building in the background allows us to understand that this is the artist’s understanding of the future of castle architecture. The taking-of-a-cellphone-pic remains at the forefront, reminding us that this is still, at its core, a deep emotional reflection of the modern.

This piece of Artwork is definitely one that can be argued was merely “art for art’s sake,” and while the true purpose of the sculpture is unknown, its semi-translucent turquoise-teal body seems to reflect the semi-translucentness of pop culture society.
